Clarke is a well-known freelancer across consumer technology, games/gaming, and tech, and says: “It helps if a PR knows what publications I write for and the topic areas I specialise in…If you can work out what publication you would like the story to run in and why it’s good for that, it will automatically make your pitch stand out,” Clarke told Influencing Insider.
“Also, suggest a hook if you have one or suggest ‘why me, why now, why the publication you want to run it in.”
