Media release: Mark Vincent joins José Carreras and John Farnham all-star concert line-ups as national tour gains momentum

MARK VINCENT'S MOMENTUM CONTINUES AS SOLD-OUT SHOWS, MAJOR CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENTS AND NEW TOUR DATES DRIVE NATIONAL DEMAND

Fresh from a sold-out performance at Sydney's Glen Street Theatre and with strong ticket sales continuing across the country, acclaimed Australian tenor Mark Vincent has announced additional dates for his nationally touring concert spectacular Amoré, as audiences respond to what is shaping up to be one of the biggest periods of his career.
Presented with the Australian Symphony Orchestra and conducted by longtime musical director Shannon Brown, Amoré celebrates the songs that have accompanied audiences through generations, from Unchained Melody, You'll Never Walk Alone and Music of the Night to My Way, You Raise Me Up and Nessun Dorma.
The tour arrives at a time of extraordinary momentum for Vincent, who was recently announced as part of two of the country's most significant concert events.
In September, he will join an all-star lineup including Keith Urban, Jimmy Barnes, Tina Arena, Human Nature, Jessica Mauboy and Richard Marx for The Songs of John Farnham: A Living Legend at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena. The concert will celebrate Farnham's extraordinary musical legacy while raising vital funds for Head and Neck Cancer Australia.

In December, Vincent will take the stage alongside global music icons including José Carreras, Robbie Williams, The Corrs, Ronan Keating, Ann Wilson, Darren Hayes, Natalie Imbruglia and Katherine Jenkins as part of Carreras & Friends, a one-night-only international stadium spectacular at Brisbane's Gabba, inspired by the legendary Pavarotti & Friends concerts.

The announcement places Vincent among a select group of Australian artists invited to perform alongside some of the world's most celebrated performers.
"To be included in these events is a tremendous honour," Vincent said. "I've always believed that great music brings people together, regardless of genre, and both concerts celebrate exactly that spirit."
The recent success of Amoré reflects Vincent's continued evolution as a performer. Since winning the inaugural season of Australia's Got Talent at just 15 years old, he has built a career spanning chart-topping albums, international touring and major theatrical productions.
His most recent independent album, Life Is Beautiful, debuted at No. 1 on both the ARIA Classical and Classical Crossover charts, while recent years have seen him perform alongside Dami Im at the Sydney Opera House, collaborate with acclaimed Italian producer Pierpaolo Guerrini, and appear as Old Deuteronomy in the 40th Anniversary Australian tour of CATS.
Strong demand has also prompted the addition of a new Western Australian performance at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on November 11, while Vincent's Theatre Royal Hobart concert has been rescheduled to October 31 to accommodate his appearance at the John Farnham tribute concert.
With Port Macquarie already selling strongly and several remaining performances attracting significant interest, audiences are encouraged to book early.
